Dr. Edith Rigler has extensive international transaction banking experience as an executive with global banks. Her banking positions included Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank in New York, Chase Manhattan in London, Citigroup Europe in London, Zurich and Frankfurt, Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, HSBC in London and Bank of New York Mellon in Frankfurt. She now supports the Payments Advisory Group, an international consultancy. Edith has also worked with the Euro Banking Association (EBA) in Frankfurt as well as with VocaLink, the London-based payments infrastructure. She publishes and speaks regularly on trends in payments, virtual currencies and the blockchain technology, European banking law and regulatory initiatives. Edith holds a PhD. in economic and social sciences from the University of Vienna in Austria and a graduate degree in International Management from the Graduate Business School at New York University in New York. She also completed post-graduate studies at Columbia University in New York
